GeoPress makes clean, safe water from virtually any fresh water source and is designed for international travel, outdoor adventure and emergency use - anywhere in the world! It removes waterborne pathogens and parasites including virus, bacteria, protozoa cysts (e.g. rotavirus, hepatitis A, norovirus, giardiasis, cryptosporidium, E. coli, cholera, salmonella and dysentery). Filters particulates (sediment, microplastics), chemicals (PFAS, chlorine, benzene, chloroform), pesticides, herbicides, VOCs, heavy metals (lead, arsenic, chromium), flavors and odors.. Ideal for the rigors of international travel, backpacking, hiking, camping, canoeing, fly fishing, hunting, survival, and emergencies worldwide. Its lifespan is 350 uses (65 gal / 250 L), depending on water quality. The cartridge will require increased press time as it reaches the end of its lifespan, as impurities reduce the water flow. Stored under proper conditions, an unopened Purifier Cartridge has a shelf life of 10 years (making it ideal for emergency and bug out kits).
