It is best absorbed on an empty stomach, but can be taken with food if your stomach is bothersome. Do not take within 1 hour before or 2 hours after antacids, eggs, whole-grain breads, cereals, dairy products, tea, or coffee. Take capsules with a full glass (8 oz.230 ml) of water.
